“Collecting Your Thoughts”

Do you find yourself collecting objects, flat or otherwise and wonder what to do with them? This course will make use of found objects to make art, to develop your personal constructions of dreams, portraits, 3-d stories or other fantasies. The history of collage/ assemblage thru slides & DVD. Discussion of Artists’ methods include: K.Schwitters, J.Cornell,G.Herms, E.Keinholtz, R.Rauchenberg, Ray Johnson and many more. Materials: found objects, paper, fabric, wood, metal, your imagination and whatever you may need to fasten things together.(wire, glue,nails etc.)

Tuition:$360.00 per 10 weeks
